Virgin Mobile shook ground and opened eyes last November with The RE*Generation Gallery Benefit and Auction. Rich Jacobs, the curator for The RE*Generation Gallery, enlisted twenty-one hot artists to create original works inspired by The RE*Generation movement. The art was featured and auctioned off at a benefit event at Skylight Studios in New York City on November 7th. The star-studded event featured a screening of the compelling documentary about a homeless teen entitled "Carissa." This year, we're taking some time off from immersion in the art world to apply our resources in a more direct way to support the organizations working on the issue of youth homelessness. As a result, The RE*Generation Gallery will be put on hold for at least the next year. We have the utmost gratitude to all the artists who made our Gallery events in both 2006 and 2007 a wonderful success.
