What is it?

To get started, download Chat Park for free or go to VirginXL -> Power Chat on your Virgin Mobile phone.

What is the difference between Chat Park™ and Power Chat®?

Both Chat Park™ and Power Chat® cost the same and provide the same chat services. The difference is that Chat Park™ requires a Java download to chat while Power Chat® is available right away on your phone.

How much does it cost?

Day pass costs $0.99 for 24 hour access up to .5MB of data use. Once you go beyond your time or traffic amount, you’ll be asked if you want to purchase additional time / data. The Chat Park™ application is free to download. Chat Park™ and Power Chat® are two separate chat services and are billed separately. Minutes are NOT transferable between the two services.

How do I use it?

There are two ways to enter the chat rooms from your Virgin Mobile phone.

Is there anything I should keep in mind when chatting with other users?

Remember, there are hundreds of users out there. So play it safe. Here's a good rule of thumb: Don't share anything in Chat Park or Power Chat that you wouldn't be comfortable posting publicly.
In other words, don't give out personal information such as your last name, phone number, email, or home address. And don't get fooled into sharing any personal financial information such as credit card or social security numbers. (Virgin Mobile wouldn't ask you for that sort of information through Chat Park or Power Chat.)

How long can I stay in Chat Park & Power Chat?

As long as you have enough money in your balance to pay for the hourly charge, you can stay in Chat Park & Power Chat for as long as you want.
