What is it?

It's video against video, and you choose which one airs next on MTV's Video Clash. It could be The Strokes vs. Sum 41, Britney vs. Justin, or Marilyn Manson vs. Alice Cooper. You suggest the battles and then you help choose the winner--live on MTV. To vote in the battles, all you have to do is go to the *MTV area on your Virgin Mobile phone and request a "ballot." Reply to the ballot indicating which video you want to see next, while the current video is playing. Vote as many times as you want. As soon as the video that's playing ends, the video that got the most votes in the battle is the one that airs next. Bonus: votes that are placed on Virgin Mobile phones count more than other votes. Once you're hooked, we'll make sure that you never miss another Video Clash battle. Sign up for the Video Clash alert in the *MTV area on your Virgin Mobile phone and we'll text message you with a reminder that the show is coming on (and we'll send you a ballot) before the show begins.

How do I use it?

Follow these steps:

1. Select VirginXL from the Main Menu of your phone.
2. Then select *MTV -> Video Clash -> Vote.

You will then receive a text "ballot" via text message. Select Reply and type "A" or "B" to indicate the video you're voting for, then select Send. Remember, you can vote as many times as you want for each video and you can use the same ballot for every battle during the show. (And, votes placed on your Virgin Mobile phone count more than other votes.)

To receive an alert before the next show, select Alerts -> Sign Up. When you get a new Video Clash alert, a page will pop up on the screen of your Virgin Mobile phone letting you know that you have a new text message. Select View or look in the Text Inbox in the Messages menu under your phone's main menu.

How about some Tips?

• For each new Video Clash show, you can use the same ballot for every battle.
• Video Clash airs live on the East Coast and is pre-recorded for the West Coast.
• If you're on the West Coast, there isn't live voting for your video choice, but you can vote for the Main Event Battle anytime.

How much does it cost?

Each vote is a text message and costs 10 cents. For a special introductory period, *MTV Video Clash alerts are no additional charge to Virgin Mobile customers. Check the Video Clash area in the *MTV Menu on your phone for any additional charges that may apply in the future.
