How do I use it?

1. Go to the Main Menu of your Virgin Mobile phone and select VirginXL.
2. From the VirginXL menu, select *MTV.
3. From the *MTV menu, select Interact. Then choose Alerts.
4. You now have two choices: Browse Alerts and See Your Alerts. If you want to see all of the alerts that you can choose from, select Browse Alerts. If you want to check out the alerts that you've already signed up for, select See Your Alerts.
5. If you select Browse Alerts, we'll show you a list of all of the alerts you can choose. Select Essentials. Then click Sign Up.

How much does it cost?

Your account will be charged $0.25 for each Essentials Alert that you receive and open (this is the standard charge for received and viewed multimedia messages).
