What is it?

Want to know who's performing on TRL today? Looking for juicy gossip from the Real World? Dying to know what's new at *MTV? Well, don't call us... we'll text YOU! Sign up for *MTV Alerts from your Virgin Mobile phone, on the Virgin Mobile Web site, or at MTV.com, and we'll text message you with the stuff you want. You'll get key insider info from *MTV no matter where you are or what time it is - as long as you've got your Virgin Mobile phone with you, that is.

How do I use it?

1. From the Main Menu of your Virgin Mobile phone select VirginXL. 2. Select *MTV and then Alerts 3. You now have two choices: Browse Alerts and See Your Alerts. If you want to see all of the alerts that you can choose from, select Browse Alerts. If you want to check out the alerts that you've already signed up for, select See Your Alerts. 4. If you select Browse Alerts, we'll show you a list of all of the alerts you can choose. See an alert that you want? Highlight it and click Continue? you'll get a short description of the alert. Then click Sign Up. 5. If you don't want to receive a particular alert anymore, select See Your Alerts from the *MTV Alerts menu to view the list of alerts you've already signed up for. To remove an alert, select it and press OK. You will see the alert description. Select Unsubscribe and press OK. 6. When you get a new alert, a page will pop on your phone's screen letting you know that you have a new text message (this is the same for both *MTV Alerts and other text messages that you get). In order to see the alert, select View from the screen pop, or look in the Text Inbox in the Messages menu under your phone's Main Menu.

• You can only receive *MTV Alerts on a Virgin Mobile phone.
• *MTV Alerts are text messages that are sent directly to your phone.
• Each alert that you sign up for will send you a message when there's new info, news, or gossip that can't wait.
• Some of the *MTV Alerts will be sent on a regular schedule.

How much does it cost?

Some *MTV Alerts are free while others have charges applied to them. Check the Alerts area in the *MTV Menu on your phone for any charges that may apply.
