What is Mobile Web Browsing?

With VirginXL, you can access your favorite Web sites right from your phone. Get the latest headlines and hot links from Virgin Mobile, do a search, or type in your own url and surf away.

How much does it cost?

There are two ways to pay for Mobile Web access:

1-Day Pass — Get 24 hours of access and up to 500KB of use (that's about 50 average Web pages, but sizes vary) for only $1.

Monthly Pass — Get 30 days of access and up to 5 MB of use for only $4.99/mo.

The cost of Web access is non-refundable if you decide to block it on your phone after you've paid for a 1-day or monthly pass, sorry.

How do I use it?

Here's how:
  1. Go to Menu -> VirginXL -> Surf the Web.
  2. Choose from one of the Web links provided or enter a Web site of your own.
  3. Select "Day Pass" or "Month Pass" at the prompt.

Can I download files from the Web to my phone?

No. Virgin Mobile phones do not currently support file downloads from the Web, sorry.

What if I don't want Web access enabled on my phone?

You can block Web access on your phone by calling Virgin Mobile At Your Service at 1-888-322-1122. Keep in mind, you'll still be able to access VirginXL and download ringtones, games, and graphics from Virgin Mobile and our partners through short codes, but you won't be able to access any other sites. The cost of Web access is non-refundable if you decide to block Mobile Web access on your phone after you've paid for a 1-day or monthly pass, sorry.
