You can download games from your phone or from our website. Here's how:
From your phone:
1. On your Virgin Mobile phone, go to Menu->VirginXL->Games. (You can also do a search from the VirginXL main page.)
2. Select a category to see which games are available for download.
3. Highlight the game you'd like to buy, and press OK. Then choose a pricing option and click "Buy".
4. The price of the game will be deducted from your cash balance, and the download process will begin. If you don't have enough left in your balance to cover the cost, we'll let you know and give you the option to Top-Up.
5. To play the game, go to My Stuff->My Games on your phone and click on the game.
From www.virginmobileusa.com:
1. Click here to go to the games section of our website.
2. Browse our selection to find the game you want and then click "Buy".
3. The price of the game will be deducted from your cash balance, and the download process will begin. (Just make sure your phone is turned on and you're in our coverage area.)
4. A message will be sent to your phone's screen letting you know you have a game waiting for download. Click "Download".
5. To play the game, go to My Stuff->My Games on your phone and click on the game.
Each game fits into one of these categories:
Daily Access: Download a game and try it out for 24 hours. Prices vary, but most of these games cost 99c for 24 hours of playing time. If you want to keep playing after that, you'll need to pay another 99c for another 24 hours of game time.
Monthly Subscription: Sign up to play month-to-month. Prices vary, but most monthly subscription games cost $2.99 per month. You can cancel your subscription at any time.
Unlimited Use: Pay a one-time fee to download the game and then play as much as want. Prices vary, but most of these games cost $5.99 each.
If you purchased a game with unlimited use, then it's yours to use as long as you keep the same Virgin Mobile phone. You can keep playing subscription games as long as you pay the monthly charge.
It's simple. Just go to VirginXL->Games->My Purchases. You'll be able to see all of the games you've downloaded and keep track of any game subscriptions you've signed up for.
Just go to VirginXL->Games->My Purchases->Name of the Game->Cancel Subscription
We recently upgraded our games platform. So if you downloaded a subscription game before 8/4/08, you'll need to download a new version at no extra cost. You should have received a Virgin Alert explaining the process. But if you can't find that alert, just go to VirginXL->Games->My Purchases->Name of the Game and you should see an option to re-download your game free of charge.
If you were charged for a game but it failed to download, you can re-download the game for free or request a refund. Just go to Menu->VirginXL->Games->My Purchases on your phone. You can request a refund up to 30 days from your purchase date.
With Games Lite, you can play games directly through VirginXL without having to download them. You can access Games Lite on most VirginXL-enabled phones by going to VirginXL->Games or VirginXL->Games->Games Lite. A subscription to Games Lite costs $3.99 per month. As long as the monthly charge goes through, you can play as many Games Lite games as you want, all month long.
We no longer offer the Player's Club gaming community, sorry. But you can still play those games (without the community features) by going to VirginXL->Games->My Purchases on your phone and downloading a new version of your games at no extra cost.
