What are content alerts?
Content alerts are special text messages that you can sign-up to receive on your phone. They can be sports scores, trivia, fun facts, and more.Most alerts are sent out daily, Monday-Friday. Others (like sports score updates) go out at different times. Alerts cost between $0.50 and $2.00 per week, depending on the alert.

How do I use it?
There are a couple different ways to sign-up for alerts...From the Web...
Click here to log into My Virgin Mobile and see a list of available alerts. To sign-up for an alert, just check the checkbox next to its name and hit update. To unsubscribe from an alert, uncheck the checkbox next to its name and hit update.
From your phone...
Follow these steps:
- Go to VirginXL -> Content Alerts.
- Choose an alert that interests you and click subscribe.
- An alert will appear on your phone whenever you receive a new content alert. To read the content, click OK and then click on the message in your Inbox.
- To unsubscribe, just return to VirginXL -> My Virgin Mobile-> My Active Alerts, select and alert and choose unsubscribe.

Different alerts cost different amounts. Click here to see a list of available alerts along with their prices. After you sign-up to receive an alert, you'll be charged when the first alert is sent.
