TTY (also known as a TDD or Text Telephone), is a telecommunications device that allows people who are deaf or hard of hearing, or who have speech or language disabilities, to communicate via telephone.

Which phones have TTY?

Currently, TTY capability is available on the Shuttle, TNT!, Wild Card, Arc, Slash, Flare, Super Slice, LG Aloha, Cyclops, Switch_Back, Slice, Oystr, Slider Sonic, Snapper, Flasher V7, and K10 Royale. Future phones may also provide this capability.

How do I use it on my Shuttle phone?

To setup TTY on your Shuttle phone:
  1. Attach a TTY device (sold separately) to your phone.
  2. From the keypad go to Tools & Settings > Others > TTY mode and Press OK.
  3. Select Enable TTY and press OK.
  4. Follow the instructions that accompanied your TTY device (sold separately) to make a call.
