What is 711?
711 is used to access the Telecommunications Relay Service (TRS) which makes it possible for hearing impaired individuals to communicate over the phone.

Is there a fee?
Nope. There is no extra charge to call 711, but normal airtime charges apply.

Just your phone. All Virgin Mobile phones are capable of dialing 711.

How do I use it?
You can dial 711 from any Virgin Mobile phone. Here's how:

Dial 7-1-1 and hit send to connect to the state-operated Telecommunications Relay Service (TRS) where you will be able to communicate with a Communications Associate (CA).

The CA will call your contact and either relay the message via voice or retype the message to be sent to your contact’s TTY device. Note: Services provided by TRS vary state by state.
