What is your policy toward children's privacy?
We are concerned about the safety and privacy of children who use the Internet. We will never knowingly collect personally identifiable information from anyone under the age of 13 without prior verifiable parental consent. All our data collection is consistent with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act of 1998.

How do you know if someone is under age?
At various places on the Web site, we may request that users provide their birth date. If the respondant is under 13, we will direct him or her to have a parent or guardian call 1-888-322-1122 where a parent will be permitted to purchase a Virgin Mobile phone, establish an account, and activate the phone.

If I am a parent or legal guardian, how do I activate a phone for my under age child?
In these circumstances, activation can only be made by phone with a live customer care advisor, and the account must be in the parent's name. We may record the first name of customers who call our customer care advisors.

What if Virgin Mobile finds out a customer is under age after they've already activated a phone?
If we become aware that a child under 13 has attempted to provide us with personally identifiable information, we will remove such information from our files.

What if I find out my child has provided Virgin Mobile with personal information?
If a parent or guardian becomes aware that his or her child has done this, he or she should contact the following customer care advisor to remove this information:
