What are they?
"Reconditioned" phones have been pre-owned, returned to the store for some reason (other than being damaged), and then polished up by Virgin Mobile and sold at a discount. It's kind of like what luxury car companies do with their "certified pre-owned" cars - you still get a great car, just at a lower price.
Our phone reconditioners take great care with the phones they work on. Once a non-damaged return has been received from the store, it's tested to make sure it's in working order, repaired if necessary, updated with the latest Virgin Mobile software, and checked for any cosmetic flaws (e.g. we replace the faceplate if it has been scratched... stuff like that). By the time they're done, reconditioned phones are almost good as new. For extra peace of mind, they also come with a 90-day limited
warranty.

Do they come with a warranty?
Yes. Reconditioned phones are guaranteed to be free from defects in material and workmanship for 90 days from the day you activate your Virgin Mobile account.
