How do I use backlighting?

When your slider is closed, your phone's screen backlights automatically when you hold any key.

Adjust how long the keypad backlighting stays on by going to Menu -> Tools & Settings -> Display -> Backlight. Then select the options based on your preference.

How do I lock/unlock my phone?

To lock your phone or change your lock code, go to Menu -> Tools & Settings -> Phone Settings -> Security. Enter your four-digit lock code (the default lock code is either 0000 or the last four digits of your phone number) and select Lock Phone or change the options to your preference.

To Unlock your phone, select Unlock left option key from the main screen and enter your four-digit lock code.

How do I change my ringtone?

From the main screen, go to Menu -> Tools & Settings -> Sounds -> Ringtones. Scroll to your desired ringtone and press OK to select it.

How can I set-up different ringtones for different callers?

Highlight a contact from within your Contacts List and press OK to select it. Pres the Edit left soft key to enter the edit menu. Then scroll down to the Ringtone icon and press OK then use the up and down navigation keys to scroll through available tones and press OK to select your tone.

Highlight a contact from within your Contacts List and press OK to select it. Pres the Edit left soft key to enter the edit menu. Then scroll down to the Message Ringtone icon and press OK then use the up and down navigation keys to scroll through available tones and press OK to select your tone.

How do I change the volume of the ringtone/headset/keypad?

Select Menu -> Tools & Settings -> Sounds -> Volume and choose the items that would like to change. Adjust the volume within these menus by using the up/down arrow keys.

Use the volume keys on the side of the phone to raise or lower the volume during a call.
