How do I send a text message?

Select Menu -> Messaging -> Send text message. Enter a phone number or email address in the Number/Email field or choose contact list to pick and email address or phone number from one of your contacts. Press next, type in your subject and message and hit Send.

There are six text entry modes: T9(English only), Alpha, Symbols, Number, Auto Text, Recent message, and Emoticons. To switch between entering numbers, letters, and symbols, select Options and then choose whichever entry mode best fits what you want to type.

How do I create and manage my group lists?

To edit your groups, go to Menu -> Contacts -> Groups. You can rename the current groups by highlighting the one you want to edit, and pressing Options -> Rename Group or Options -> Add New Group for a total of 10 groups.

To add new members to a group, go to Menu -> Contacts -> Groups. Highlight the group you want to add members to and pres OK. Then choose options -> Add new and select the contacts you would like to add to this group. When you're finished, hit Done.

How do I get my text messages?

When you receive a new text message, a message appears on your screen along with an envelope icon at the top. When this happens, select View (or Dismiss, if you would rather read the message later).

Another way to find your text messages is by selecting Menu -> Messaging -> Inbox. Scroll through the messages to find the one you want and press OK to read. Once you read it, the icon will clear from the main screen.

How do I delete a text message?

Highlight the message in your Inbox and press Options -> Erase or open a message and select Options -> Erase. Then, select Yes at the prompt.

To erase ALL of the messages in a folder, Select Menu -> Messaging -> Erase Msgs. Choose the folder that you wish to clear and select Yes at the prompt.

How do I send a text message to an email address?

Select an email address from one of your contacts or enter a new address in the Send To field. Then, type in your message and hit Send.

To enter numbers or symbols such as "@" in the message area, press 1 until you see the symbol you want.
