How do I send a text message?

Select Menu -> Messaging -> Send Message -> Text Message. Select a contact or enter a phone number or email address in the Number/Email field by pressing 'New Number'. To add multiple recipients, select the left soft key option 'Multiple'.

To send to a group, select the group name from 'Contacts'. Use the OK Key to confirm. Then type in your message and hit Send.

To send to a recent contact press the TALK Key on the idle screen to open your recent list and use the up/down navigation keys to pick the number you want to send to and Send Msg. Then enter another contact or press done. Then type in your message and hit Send.

There are six text entry modes: Abc, 123, Predictive Text, Symbols, Emoticons, and Auto Text. To switch between entering numbers, letters, and symbols, select Options and then choose whichever entry mode best fits what you want to type.

How do I create and manage my group lists?

To edit your groups, go to Menu -> Contacts. Highlight the one you want to rename, and pressing Options -> Edit Group.

To add new members to a group, go to Menu -> Contacts. Highlight the group you want to add members to and press the right soft key option

How do I get my text messages?

When you receive a new text message, a message appears on your screen along with an envelope icon at the top. When this happens, select View (or Dismiss, if you would rather read the message later). If you dismiss this screen, you will still have the Envelope with a T on the top of your screen until you go to your inbox to view the message.

If this icon is present, go to Menu -> Messaging -> Messages. Scroll through the messages to find the unread messages (closed envelope) and press OK to read. Once you read it, the icon will clear from the main screen.

How do I delete a text message?

Go to Menu-> Messaging-> Messages. Highlight the message you would like to delete and press Options -> Erase or open a message and select Options -> Erase. Then, select Yes at the prompt.

To erase ALL of the messages in a folder, browse to that folder and press Options -> Erase all.

How do I send a text message to an email address?

Select an email address from one of your contacts or enter a new email address in the Email Address field. Then, type in your message and hit Send.
