How do I use backlighting?

When your slide is closed you can activate the backlight by pressing any external key.
Adjust how long the keypad backlighting stays on by going to Menu -> Tools & Settings -> Settings -> Display -> Main Screen -> Backlight. You can also adjust your Keypad light as well.

How do I lock/unlock my phone?

To lock your phone or change your lock code, go to Menu -> Tools & Settings -> Settings -> More -> Restrict and Lock -> Enter your four-digit lock code (the default lock code is the last four digits of your phone number) and select Lock My Phone or change the options to your preference.

To Unlock your phone, select unlock right soft key from the main screen and enter your four-digit lock code.

Can I change how long it will be before the key guard takes effect?

No. You cannot change how long the key guard but you can manage it by changing how long the backlight stays on. As long as the backlight is on, the key guard will not take effect. Please note if you prolong the time the backlight stays on, this increases power usage and the device may need to be recharged sooner than normal.

How do I change my ringtone?

From the main screen, go to Menu -> Tools & Settings -> Settings -> Sounds -> Ringtone Type. Select your desired contact or contacts to assign your Ringtone too. Scroll up or down to your desired ringtone and press the left soft key to confirm the assignment.

How can I set-up different ringtones for different callers?

Highlight a contact from within your Contacts List. Select the "Options" right soft key and select "Edit Contact". Then scroll down to the Ringtone assignment and press the "OK" key to edit. Use the up and down navigation keys to scroll through available tones and press "OK" to select your tone.

How can I set-up different message tones for different texters?

Highlight a contact from within your Contacts List and press "OK" to select it. Then scroll down to the Assign Txt tone field and press "OK". Select "Change" to edit the default assigned text tone. Use the up and down navigation keys to scroll through available tones. Press OK to select your tone and save your settings.

How do I change the volume of the ringtone/headset/keypad?

Select Menu -> Tools & Settings -> Settings - > Sounds -> Volume and choose the items that you would like to change. Adjust the volume within these menus by using the up/down arrow keys.

How do I change my screensavers?
