How do I add music and audio files to Slider Sonic?

Here's how...

1. Rip MP3 or WMA music files from your personal CD collection using software like Windows Media Player - make sure you uncheck "copy-protect" under Options. Or, download royalty-free MP3 music or podcasts from the Internet.

2. Insert the TransFlash card into the slot on the side of the phone.

3. With your phone turned on, connect it to your PC using the USB cable provided. If you don't have a PC running Windows XP, you can use the included SD adapter to access the TransFlash from an SD card reader (sold separately).

4. The phone will appear as a removable device on your computer. You can find it in "My Computer" on your Windows Desktop.

5. Copy your music files to the appropriate folders on your phone. Use "My music" for MP3 and WMA music files, and "My videos" for 3GP video files. Once you've copied the files, unplug your phone from the PC and press the end key.

6. Now you can play the music and video files you've transferred on your phone. Music files can be played from "Music Player" and video files from "My stuff >My videos".

Why am I getting a "Memory Full" error when transferring files?

Your Slider Sonic comes with a 32MB Transflash card. If the card fills up, you'll need to delete some of the files in "My music" or "My videos" to make some space.
