How do I use backlighting?

Your phone's screen automatically backlights when you press any key.
Adjust how long the backlighting stays on by going to Menu -> Settings -> Display -> Backlighting.

How do I lock/unlock the phone keypad?

To lock your phone, select Menu -> Settings -> Security.

You'll be asked for your code, which should be the last 4 digits of your phone number (or 0000 if you haven't activated with Virgin Mobile yet). Once you enter your code, select Lock Phone.

When your phone is locked, you can only call 911 or a Virgin Mobile service number.

Once the phone is locked, Unlock will appear on your screen instead of the Menu. To make a call while your phone is locked, you'll first have to select Unlock and enter your code.

How do I change my ringtone?

Go to Menu -> Settings -> Sounds -> Ringtone. Pick the ringtone you want to use.

How can I set-up different ringtones for different callers?

To assign a contact a certain ringtone, find the contact from within your Contact List and select Options -> Assign Ringtone.

You can also set up your phone to ring differently when you receive calls from different types of contacts - business or personal. To assign a ringtone to an entire class of contacts, select Menu -> Settings -> Sounds -> Business Ring or Personal Ring. (To save a contact as business or personal, select the contact in your Contact List and select Options -> Classify Contact.)

How do I change volume (ringer, headset, keypad)?

Ringtone volume: select Menu -> Settings -> Sounds -> Ringtone Vol.

Headset volume: select Menu -> Settings -> Sounds -> Earpiece Volume.

Keypad volume: select Menu -> Settings -> Sounds -> Key Volume.

Adjust the volume within these menus by using the arrow key.
