How do I send a text message?

Select Menu -> Messaging -> Send text msg. Select a phone number or email address from one of your contacts, or enter a new address in the Send To field. Then, type in your message and hit Send.

There are six text entry modes: Case Change, Numbers, Normal, Rapid Entry, Add Symbol, Add Smiley. To switch between entering numbers, letters and symbols, press and hold the left Shift key until the icon for the text entry mode you want appears at the top of the screen. Or, select Options and then choose whichever entry mode best fits what you want to type.

How do I get my text messages?

When you receive a new text message, a message appears on your screen along with an envelope icon at the top. When this happens, select View (or Ignore, if you would rather read the message later).

Another way to find your text messages is by selecting Menu -> Messaging -> Inbox. Scroll through the messages to find the one you want.

How do I delete a text message?

Open a message and select Erase. Then, select Yes at the prompt.

To erase ALL of the messages in a folder, Select Menu -> Messaging -> Erase Msgs. Choose the folder that you wish to clear and select Yes at the prompt.

How do I turn off the beep that alerts me when I get a text message?

From the main screen select Menu -> Settings-> Messaging -> Alerts. Then select Disable.

How do I send a text message to an email address?

Select an email address from one of your contacts, or enter a new address in the Send To field. Then, type in your message and hit Send. To enter numbers or symbols such as "@" in the message area, press 1 until you see the symbol you want
