How do I get my text messages?
When you get a text message, an envelope icon appears on your phone's main screen. When this happens, press
left menu bar to read the message. Or, press the
right menu bar to ignore the message and send it to your inbox.
To read messages saved in your inbox, go to Menu -> Messaging -> Inbox. Highlight a message and press
OK to read it.

How do I send a text message?
Go to Menu -> Messaging -> Send Text Msg. Type in a mobile number or email address in the Send To field, or hit the
left menu bar to choose a contact from your Contact List. To enter letters instead of numbers, hit the
right menu bar and choose "
Abc." To enter the "@" symbol, choose "
Symbols" from that same menu. Once you've entered the address, hit OK.
Now, enter your message. To send it, hit the
left menu bar once and then hit
OK.

How do I send a text message to an email address?
Select an email address from one of your contacts, or enter a new address in the Send To field. (To enter letters instead of numbers in the Send To field, hit the
right menu bar and choose "
Abc." To enter the @ symbol, choose "
Symbols" from that same menu.) Then, type in your message and hit
Send.

How do I delete text messages?
Select a message from your inbox and press "1" to Erase.
To delete multiple messages at once, go to Menu -> Messaging -> Erase Msgs and choose from the options there. But be careful-make sure you don't delete any messages that you want to keep.

How do I turn off the beep that alerts me when I get a text message?
Go to Menu -> Messaging -> Msg Settings -> Msg Sounds and choose from one of the options there. To keep your phone from making sounds when a message arrives, choose either
Vibrate or
Silent.
