How do I use backlighting?

Your phone's screen automatically backlights when you press any key.

Adjust how long the backlighting stays on by pressing the "3 dot" button to select Menu. Scroll through the items and press OK to select Settings -> Display -> LCD Setting -> Backlighting.

How do I change the color of my backlighting?

Press the "3 dot" button to select Menu. Scroll through the items and Press OK to select Settings -> Display -> LCD Setting -> LCD Color

How do I lock/unlock the phone keypad?

To lock your keypad, press and hold the "#" key.

Once the phone is locked, unlock will appear on your screen instead of the Menu. Press the "3 dot" button to select Unlock and enter your security code to use your phone again.

If you have not yet stored a personal security code, enter "0000" or the last 4 digits of your phone number.

How do I change the locking code?

Press the "3 dot" button to select Menu.
Scroll through the items and press OK to select Settings -> Security.
Enter your lock code (by default either 0000 or the last 4 digits of your phone number) and then select Change Password. Press OK. (Note: Select Cancel if you want to leave your code unchanged.) Then enter your new password and press OK.

How do I change my ringtone?

Press the "3 dot" button to select Menu. Scroll through the items and press OK to select Settings -> Sounds -> Ringtones. Pick a ringtone from the standard Ringtones list or from your downloaded My Ringtones list. Press OK to confirm.

How can I set-up different ringtones for different callers?

You can set up your phone to ring differently for different groups of callers - but not for individual contacts. To save a contact to a group:

Select the contact in your Contact List and press OK.
Scroll down to the groups section and scroll left or right to select a group setting.
Then press OK to store (STO) the group setting.

To assign a group a certain ringtone:

Press the "3 dot" button to select Menu.
Scroll through the items and press OK to select Contacts -> Edit Group -> Change Group Ringtone.
Scroll down to select a group and press OK.
Next Scroll down to select a ringtone. Press OK to save the one you want to use.

How do I change the earpiece volume?

During a call, press the volume key on the side of your phone up or down.

How do I make my phone vibrate instead of ring?

Press the "3 dot" button to select Menu. Scroll through the items and press OK to select Settings -> Sounds -> Ringtone Mode -> Vibrate.

Or press and hold the "*" button on your phone's keypad to enter Etiquette Mode.

How do I change the banner display?

Press the "3 dot" button to select Menu. Scroll through the items and press OK to select Settings -> Display -> Main Display Setting -> Greeting Input.

Select Edit, then press the Spk/Clr button to clear the screen.

Enter your new message, then press OK twice to save it.

How do I change my screen savers?

Press the "3 dot" button to select Menu. Scroll through the items and press OK to select Settings -> Display -> Animation Setting -> Idle Display. Select an animation you like and press OK.

How do I change the way the clock looks?

To change the look of the clock on the main display press the "3 dot" button to select Menu. Scroll through the items and press OK to select Settings -> Display -> Main Display Setting -> Idle Clock.

To change the look of the clock on the external display press the "3 dot" button to select Menu. Scroll through the items and press OK to select Settings -> Display -> Sub LCD Clock
