How do I adjust my Bluetooth® settings?

Here's how...

1. Go to Menu -> Settings -> Bluetooth.
2. Press "My device".
3. Press [Options] to choose from:
  •  Add New: Searches for Bluetooth devices in range
  •  Assign Short Name: To assign short a name to the device
  •  Device Info: Displays information about a Bluetooth device
  •  Erase: To erase a selected Bluetooth device.
  •  Erase All: To erase all Bluetooth devices
4. Your phone will display the names of Bluetooth devices it has previously detected. If none have been detected, "No matches found" will be displayed.
5. To add a new device, press Options -> Add new.

What is "pairing mode"?

Bluetooth accessories will enter pairing mode when you try to connect them to a Bluetooth enabled phone for the first time. You may be asked to enter the password that came with your accessory to complete the connection for the first time. For more information and specific instructions for your phone, see the User Guide that came with your phone.
