What is the Service Preserver?
Top-Up $90 within any 72 hour period and Virgin Mobile's Service Preserver will keep your service active for a whole year.
Just add $90 to your account within any 3-day period by using a credit/debit card, registered PayPal account, or Top-Up cards. We'll send you a Virgin Alert letting you know that you're in, and we'll keep your service active for a whole year! That means there's no need to worry about Topping-Up every 90 days to keep your service from expiring. Just Top-Up whenever you need more airtime.

Do I still need to Top-Up if I have Service Preserver?
Yes. If you use up the $90 that you added to your account to get the Service Preserver, you'll need to Top-Up.
Service Preserver keeps your service from expiring. (In other words, you don't have to Top-Up $20 every 90 days to keep your service working.)
You'll still need to have money in your balance to make calls, send text messages, download ringtones, etc. That means you'll have to Top-Up if you run low on airtime.

What happens if I switch to Month2Month after I've qualified for Service Preserver?
Service Preserver does not work with Month2Month. To learn more about Service Preserver,
But, if you activated Service Preserver on Minute2Minute or Day2Day, switch to Month2Month, and then switch back to Minute2Minute or Day2Day within 60 days of originally qualifying for Service Preserver, you can re-activate Service Preserver without adding an additional $90 within a three day period. As long as you go back to the alert on your phone (stored in the Virgin Alerts mailbox) that you received when you first qualified and respond "yes" within those 60 days, Service Preserver will be re-activated.
If you have not responded "yes" to the alert after you've switched back to Minute2Minute or Day2Day and within 60 days from when you originally qualified for Service Preserver, you will need to add another $90 within any 3 day period to qualify for Service Preserver again.
With Month2Month, your account remains active so long as your registered debit or credit card still accepts the regular charges. You can always buy a $90 Service Preserver Card to add $90 to your cash balance.
Starting September 19, 2006, you will no longer be able to activate with-or switch your service to-Minute2Minute, Day2Day, Inner Circle, or Month2Month. If you're currently using one of these offers, you can continue talking with that offer until your account expires or you switch to one of our other TALK options. After that, you won't be able to switch back to Minute2Minute, Day2Day, Inner Circle, or Month2Month.
